We spent another morning at Eaton Canyon to see the tadpoles. This time we went with Matthew and Eric. After spending quite some time at the same spot we were before, Hannah wanted to explore further up the creek. As we finally ventured back, Hannah with the eye of a hawk spotted this frog. As I gathered the kiddos around it, asking everyone to leave the frog be so that everyone could have a chance to see it, Alyssa who was already too close, reached over and touched it gently on its back. Instantly, it hopped away, but not too far away. However, as the kiddos came closer to it, the frog hopped once again and could no longer be found.
