Decorating with Alyssa is quite an event. She can be all over the place and then suddenly you have her complete attention... at least that is what happened today. She had little interest in collecting leaves to do our rubbings with and didn't want to put out the fall decorations we already had, wanting to save them in a "safe place" somewhere in her room. But once we started doing the rubbing, she was completely present. She remembered how to do it and had really good technique. And she was so proud of her finished garland!
