We began our Christmas festivities with our traditional day after Thanksgiving trip to get our tree. Once again we headed out to Home Depot and then the girls got to pull out their own ornaments to decorate the tree. Ryan and I got to sit back and watch as the girls happily worked together. How precious it is to watch them s they ooh and ahh and recall their own little stories about their ornaments. This year I took them to the Christmas Tea at our church. They wore their Christmas dresses and I did their hair. And what could be more fun than decorating cookie with friends! The Rye came over yesterday and had a creatively wonderful time with different colored frosting and candies.
This is the most wonderful time of the year!

Nothing says Christmas like getting your tree from Home Depot! LOL. At least yours is real, yep, total fake tree here.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait 'til C is old enough to decorate the tree with us and recall memories of his fave ornaments. I mean I can wait, I don't want him to grow up too fast, but you know what I mean.
