Party in Vegas

We do not go to Las Vegas very often... in fact it has been several years... let's say over 6 years really. Vegas is a town that is always changing, so it is fun to go and see what's new. This trip was a surprise birthday weekend for Ryan's brother, Brett. We ate well, enjoyed a show, did a little gambling and enjoyed the weekend with very fun company!

Embracing the camera at the park

We chanced possible rain and walked to the park today. It's been awhile since we've walked there. The girls had fun (can you tell!) and didn't give me too much trouble when it was time to leave.

Preschool PJ and Pancake Day!

It was that time again! Instead of visiting Hannah's class for Pancake Day, Alyssa enjoyed this day all on her own! Mommy helped in the kitchen this time around.

Hannah's Springtime Tea

Hannah hosted a tea on the first day of Spring. She decided the guest list and menu. We baked banana bread and sugar cookies. Then it rained. But rain did not stop the dozen little ladies who came from enjoying an afternoon tea!

Happy Birthday to ME! (Embracing the Camera)

So I am embracing the camera today, fellow bloggers have established it as a day that you make sure you are in a picture too... and it's my birthday. After taking the girls to Seussical the Musical with their Gramma and Uncle Eric, we went to lunch and Gramma brought along a cupcake (the rest of the cake made by Hannah on Wed came later). To top off the night, Ryan took me to a wonderful little French restaurant in downtown Monrovia called Cafe Massilia (VERY yummy!). Ahhh... life is good!
